^ this picture i like so much. maybe u think is it gross but to me it makes me smile so much!it tells me there will be an end to pain and one day i can heal and i want to dooooo it! :)

I do not like the sink one though, I am sorry :( I cannot find any meaning in it, only pain. The bandage one has symbolism like you said, but the sink is just gore and sorrow :( Please let your life be more like the bandage picture.
